About the service
What is Atestaria?
+Atestaria is a digital notarization service (Trust-as-a-Service). We register the cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of your file with an immutable timestamp, generating a publicly verifiable certificate. It works like a digital notary with an API.
Do you store my files?
+No. Never. The file never leaves your device. We only register the SHA-256 hash — a mathematical fingerprint that cannot be used to reconstruct the original file. Privacy by design.
How long does it take to generate a proof?
+Less than 3 seconds. The hash is calculated instantly in your browser, and the registration and certificate issuance happen in real time.
Legal validity
Is the Atestaria proof legally valid?
+Yes. Atestaria proof is expert technical evidence: cryptographic hash, immutable timestamp, digital signature, and complete audit trail. This constitutes defensible technical evidence in legal proceedings, arbitration, and audits. It does not replace traditional notarization but provides robust complementary technical evidence.
How does public verification work?
+Each certificate has a public URL. Anyone can access and verify authenticity — no account, login, or software needed. Just drag the file or paste the hash.
What happens if the company shuts down?
+Anchored proofs are permanent and independent of our operations. The certificate and hash remain verifiable. The protocol is designed for durability.
Security & technology
What file formats are accepted?
+Any format. Atestaria works with the file hash, not the content. PDFs, images, videos, audio, source code, spreadsheets — everything can be registered.
Integration & API
Can I integrate it into my system?
+Yes. We offer a complete REST API with Stripe-style documentation. Register and verify proofs directly from your software, ERP, or platform. We support webhooks for real-time notifications.
Plans & payment
How is it different from traditional notarization?
+Speed (3 seconds vs days), cost (from $0.25 vs notary fees), automation (API integration), and scale (thousands of proofs/month). Atestaria complements traditional notaries with digital technical evidence.
How does payment work?
+We offer monthly volume-based plans (Starter, Business, Enterprise) and pay-per-use options. Payment via credit card with Stripe. Free trial with 10 proofs, no credit card required.
